For newcomers to vacuum clamping technology Witte Bleckede now offers a starter set, which contains all items required from chuck to pump. This set is unique in that it can be used for various applications.
The basic grid-type chuck is best used to hold workpieces with rough surfaces for milling or grinding. Seals, also included in the set, allow reduction of clamping area according to workpiece contour and can even out warped or uneven surfaces in workpieces.
For pockets, through cuts or for cutting outer contours the Vac-Mat adapter plate is ideal. After placing onto basic grid-type chuck and covering with a special rubber mat (Vac-Mat) it is possible to cut right through workpieces into the mat without losing vacuum.
No other vacuum set covers this range of applications. The basic grid-type chuck is also modular, which means the overall chuck dimension can be increased in any direction at any time.
