Witte Bleckede, manufacturer of different workpiece clamping systems also make gauges in aluminium.
They recently produced a series of 20 different gauges for a German car manufacturer. Gauges are used for checking whether important recesses and flush mountings are within predetermined tolerances. Using gauges means that external measuring equipment is not necessary.
These gauges were manufactured by Witte in three different versions:
- Gauge with dial indicator: In contrast to conventional gauges dimensions of deviations are shown here visually.
- Plug gauge: If it fits in the green hole part is okay.
- Gauge with secure stops: Allows checking of outer dimensions using stops and neighbouring contours
Gauges were used to check plastic cover parts on car instrument panel during series manufacturing.
Since gauges are manufactured in high tensile anodized aluminium with low wear and tear they make life easier for operator.
